Letting your gaze wander into the distance becomes a reality here. With a height of almost 30 meters and 125 steps, you really deserve the view.

The almost 29.5 meter high Wiehenturm on the ridge of the Wiehengebirge offers a wonderful distant view. From the Schwarzer Brink hikers' parking lot on Bergstraße, a short footpath leads directly to the Wiehenturm.
A staircase with 125 steps leads to the viewing platform of the Wiehen Tower. The effort is worth it: those who are free from giddiness are not only rewarded with clean Egg air above the treetops, but also enjoy a magnificent distant view with a view of the North German Plain - up to 50 km away in good weather.
The Wiehenturm is one of the most northerly observation towers in Germany.
The Wiehenturm is part of the Eggetaler Panorama Rundwanderweg and is connected to the Limberg castle ruins by a very beautiful hiking trail.
